Who processes your data

The data controller is Emilia – Mateřská škola s.r.o., company ID (IČ) 289 60 262, registered office Zelená 910, 280 02 Kolín IV. The preschool's premises are at V Opletkách 247, 280 02 Kolín IV.

Booking a visit

When you fill in the “Book a visit” form we process your name, e-mail, phone (optional), your child's age (optional, no name), the programme you chose and the text of your message. The purpose is to reply to you and arrange a visit to the preschool.

The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to jana@emilia.cz; we then delete the enquiry. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

Together with the enquiry we store the time consent was given, the IP address and the browser identification it was sent from. These technical details serve solely to protect the form from abuse (limiting the number of submissions from one address) and to prove consent; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the website safely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visiting the website

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising tools, and loads nothing from third-party servers; fonts and images are hosted by us. Map links open external sites only when you click them.

The server hosting the website keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type). We keep them only for as long as is necessary for security and troubleshooting, on the basis of our legitimate interest.

Who receives your data

Enquiries are seen only by preschool staff responsible for communicating with parents.

We use these processors: the provider hosting and operating our information system, and the e-mail delivery service through which the notification of an enquiry reaches us. Processors may use the data only on our instructions and are bound by a data processing agreement. Should any of them process data outside the European Union, this happens solely under the safeguards of Article 46 GDPR.

We never sell data, pass it on for marketing or publish it. Public authorities receive it only where the law obliges us to provide it.

How long we keep your data

We keep an enquiry for at most 12 months from submission and then delete it automatically. If you withdraw consent earlier, we delete it without delay.

If your child is enrolled, the contact details become part of the preschool's records and are then governed by the rules for keeping them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right:

• to access the data we hold about you and to obtain a copy
• to have inaccurate data corrected
• to erasure, in particular after withdrawing consent
• to restriction of processing
• to object to processing based on legitimate interest
• to portability of the data you gave us
• to withdraw consent at any time

To exercise them, write to jana@emilia.cz. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.cz.

Security

The website and the preschool's portal communicate over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Only signed-in preschool staff with the appropriate permission can see enquiries, and every handling of an enquiry is logged.

Children

The website is not aimed at children and collects no data from them. An enquiry is submitted by a parent or legal guardian; about the child we ask only for the age.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if the way we process data changes; the current version is always on this page.
